Sweet Potato rolls

Ingredients:

Sweet potatoes : 3

Grated ginger : 1 tsp

Green chillies : 1/2 tsp finely chopped chopped

Maida ( refined flour ) : 1 small bowl

Salt : to taste

Oil : for deep frying

Method :

Peel the sweet potatoes and cut into big chunks . Pressure cook it for 2-3 whistles.Mash the cooked sweet potatoes in a bowl and add the salt , ginger , green chilies and maida . Mix them well and knead into a dough .

Add a little oil and make small oval shaped rolls .

Heat oil in a frying pan and deep fry the rolls on medium heat till they are uniformly brown on all sides .

Serve the tasty rolls hot with green chutney and ketchup .
