Ingredients:
Rava – 1 cup
Sugar -1.5 cups
Rasna insta or Tang ( orange flavour )- 1/4 th- 1/2 cup

Ghee – 1/2 cup
Cardamom – 3-4 crushed
Raisins/ cashews – few
Water – 3 cups
Method :
Take 1-2 tbsps of ghee in a frying pan and heat it . Add the raisins and cashews , fry and keep them aside.

Now take another 2-3 tblsps of ghee in same kadhai and fry the rava for 4-5 mins on medium flame till you get a good aroma. At the same time boil 3 cups of water in another vessel.

Now add the boiling water to the rava stirring continuously to prevent lumps , then reduce the flame , cover with a lid and cook on slowfire for about 4-5 mins.

The sugar can now be added and mixed at this stage, then cover and cook for a few more minutes.

The rasna insta powder , fried raisins cashews and cardamom powder go in now . Again mix them in and cook for a couple of minutes with lid closed. The remaining ghee can also be added.

The mixture when stirred now leaves the sides of the vessel without sticking. Kesari is ready. Take off the flame.
Transfer the contents into a serving bowl. Orange flavoured kesari bath is ready to be consumed.
