1 cup rice flour

1 finely chopped onion

1 tsp Red chilli powder

1/2 tsp asofoetida ( hing)

1 tsp cumin seeds

1 tsp oil

2 tsps coriander leaves chopped

1 tblsp grated coconut

Salt to taste

Oil for deep frying.

Method:

Lightly roast the rice flour in a kadhai and then transfer to a bowel . Add all the other ingredients plus a tsp of oil and mix well . Make a firm dough using hot water.

Flatten big lemon size quantity of dough on a banana leaf or plastic sheet . Heat oil in the kadhai and deep fry the vadas till it turns slightly brown .

Enjoy with a cup of hot tea.
