Lauki ( Bottle Gourd) Utthapam

Ingredients:

1&1/2 cups Lauki paste,

1&1/2 cups Rice flour,

1/2 cup Rava ( Semolina) ,

1 finely chopped green chilli,

1 finely chopped onion,

few finely chopped coriander leaves,

Salt to taste

Oil.

Method:

Take bottle gourd.Wash, peel and chop into medium size pieces . Grind it in the mixie into a smooth paste. Take rice flour in a bowl. Add Rava and the ground Lauki paste. Mix well without forming lumps.

Add salt, chopped green chilli , chopped onion and coriander leaves.

Mix everything well into a fine batter. If required add some water to get right pouring consistency as for dosa .

Take a Dosa tawa . Heat and pour the batter and spread . Add a tsp of oil. Cook on one side and then turn it and cook on the other side.

Once cooked on both sides , it is ready to serve.

It can be eaten without any accompaniment or with molagapodi or coconut or tomato chutney.
