Ingredients:
Chana Dal -1cup,
Jaggery-1 cup,
Grated Coconut-1 cup, Ghee-2 Tbsp ,
Badam -5 , Kaju -5,
Elaichi-5( can put Elaichi powder also 1 tsp instead)
Method:
Wash the Chana Dal and soak for an hour.

Then remove water and pressure cook add water to the Chana Dal and cook for four whistles.
Mash the Chana Dal well. ( if you need some pieces of Chana Dal don’t mash very smoothly) .

In a mixie, coarse grind Badam, kaju and elaichi.

In a sauce pan take 1/4 cup water snd 1 cup jaggery. When jaggery melts and boils off the gas.
In a pan take 1 spoon ghee and fry grated coconut well .

Addthe jaggery water after straining.

Mix well and when it boils, add the Chana Dal. Cook for 2 minutes in high flame. Then finally add ground kaju etc powder. Mix well Add the balance 1 tbsp ghee and serve. If needed add kaju fried in ghee.
