Ingredients
Moong dal -1 cup
Pure ghee- 4 tablespoons
Jaggery (gud) – 1 cup
Milk- 1.5 cups
Water – 2 cups
Roasted dry fruits – 1/4 cup ( of your choice )
Cardamom ( elaichi ) powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Method

Roast the moong dal in a kadhai for 3-4 minutes. Let it cool

Grind it in a mixer to a coarse powder.

In a pan take the ghee and stir fry the moong dal powder till it turns a little brownish.

Add the milk of keep stirring it till the milk is absorbed. Then add the water and keep stirring it continuously till it is absorbed.

Now add the powdered jaggery and stir the mixture till it starts leaving the sides of the pan. Add the elaichi powder and dry fruits and mix it well . The halwa is ready.
